The Leica ARveo 8x is an advanced digital surgical microscope developed to support focus, comfort and collaboration throughout complex neurosurgical procedures.

Exclusive FusionOptics technology combines high resolution with an increased depth of field, allowing surgeons to visualise a larger area in focus while reducing the need for repeated adjustments. The apochromatic optical system provides clear, high-quality visualisation across a working-distance range of 225 to 600 mm.

Small Angle Illumination and two powerful 400 W xenon light sources provide bright illumination within deep, narrow surgical cavities. BrightCare Plus automatically limits light intensity according to the working distance, while AutoIris adjusts the illuminated field to match the visible field.

The ARveo 8x supports traditional ocular viewing, 3D heads-up visualisation and the optional MyVeo all-in-one surgical visualisation headset. Integrated 2D and 3D video options allow the surgical team to share the same real-time, high-resolution view.

The modular system supports GLOW800 augmented-reality fluorescence, GLOW400, FL400 and FL560 fluorescence applications. It can also integrate image-guided surgery systems and additional video feeds within a unified surgical view.

Motorised XY movement, automatic balancing, intraoperative balancing and vibration-damping technology support smooth positioning and stable visualisation throughout surgery.
