Leica M530 OHX
The Leica M530 OHX surgical microscope combines FusionOptics technology, apochromatic optics and advanced xenon illumination for detailed visualisation during demanding ENT procedures.
The Leica M530 OHX is an advanced surgical microscope designed for otolaryngology procedures involving deep and narrow surgical channels, including skull-base, temporal-bone and inner-ear surgery.
Exclusive FusionOptics technology combines high resolution with a greater depth of field. One optical path provides depth of field while the second provides high resolution, with the surgeon’s brain combining both views into a single detailed spatial image.
Small Angle Illumination and powerful 400 W xenon illumination allow light to penetrate deep surgical cavities with fewer shadows. This supports improved detail recognition and depth perception during demanding ENT procedures.
The motorised multifocal objective provides a continuously adjustable working distance from 225 to 600 mm. An optional magnification multiplier provides an additional 40% magnification when greater detail is required.
The BrightCare Plus system automatically reduces light intensity as the working distance decreases. AutoIris synchronises the illumination field with the microscope’s magnification so that only the visible area is illuminated.
The long-reaching overhead stand, compact optics carrier and internal cable routing provide generous working space and flexible positioning. Electromagnetic brakes and rapid stabilisation assist with smooth, controlled movement during surgery.
