Leica Proveo 8

The Leica Proveo 8 ophthalmic microscope combines FusionOptics technology, CoAx 4 coaxial LED illumination and programmable surgical settings for precise anterior and posterior segment procedures.

SKU: LEICA-PROVEO-8 Category:
Description

The Leica Proveo 8 is an advanced ophthalmic surgical microscope designed to support efficient workflows, precise surgical actions and high-quality visualisation during anterior and posterior segment procedures.

Exclusive FusionOptics technology combines high resolution with an increased depth of field, providing detailed, texture-rich images while reducing the need for frequent refocusing. OptiChrome optics deliver high contrast, natural colours and excellent resolution without chromatic aberrations.

The CoAx 4 coaxial LED illumination system generates a clear and stable red reflex while reducing stray light through the sclera. The illumination diameter can be adjusted from 4 to 23 mm using the footswitch, allowing the light field to be adapted to the individual procedure.

CombinationMode allows surgeons to pre-program the light, focus, magnification and other settings required for each phase of a procedure. Up to five surgical phases can be programmed, with individual settings stored for up to 30 surgeons.

The system can be configured with integrated video and recording options and is prepared for the addition of the EnFocus intraoperative OCT system. EnFocus OCT provides real-time visualisation of subsurface ocular tissue and can be integrated into the surgeon’s personalised microscope settings.

The Proveo 8 is available with a floor stand or ceiling-mounted configuration, providing flexible positioning within the operating room.
